In a world often focused on materialism and personal gain, the altruistic actions of three young girls in Sydney have shone a heartwarming light on the power of generosity and community spirit. The girls learnt about BETTERs mission – to create a more equitable world through education – it struck a chord with them. They realised that even at their young age, they could make a significant impact. Instead of asking for the usual birthday gifts, they saw an opportunity to do something meaningful: they asked their family and friends to donate to BETTER in lieu of receiving presents.
This selfless act of fundraising has led to the sponsorship of three BETTER students, who will now have access to quality education, nutritious meals, clean drinking water and opportunities that can change their lives. The actions of these young girls serve as a powerful reminder that generosity knows no age.
BETTER would like to thank and recognise the girls for fostering a culture of giving and support for those in need.
